The role of the General Council

General Council (Chairs Held) Officers:

The General Council serve as our Legislative Branch and helps assist the Presiding Apostle of Ambassadors For Christ Of The Living God Ministries, Inc. & affiliated church ministries. It is made up of an Upper Chamber (Chairs Held) & these Pastors are elected into office for a term of four years. It also has a Lower Chamber (Affirming Committee) which consist of a variety of ordained ministers and lay members within our Embassy who are elected for a term of two years. The General Council is responsible for establishing and executing policies for leadership & membership, as well as sustaining and perpetuating spiritual order within the Church according to the word of God. Executive decisions made by the General Council are final unless revoked or modified by the Presiding Apostle & 2nd In Command. The General Council convenes three times a year for official meetings in the months of April, August and December, emergency meetings are held when the Presiding Apostle deems necessary.
